Our Session
Ruling Elder are called to nurture the common life of the people of God through their gifts of discernment and governance. They should also cultivate an ability to tach the Word when called upon to do so. When appropriately prepared and commission ed by the presbytery, ruling elders may proclaim the Word and administer the Sacraments in a particular congregation.
Our Deacons
Deacons are called to lead the congregation in compassion, witness, and service, representing the ministry of the church in the world and the presence of the world in the church. While deacons have no responsibilities for the ordering of worship, the session should ensure that deacons (where present) have regular opportunities to lead in worship, and that their ministries of compassion, witness, and services are reflected in the public service of the church.
Our Trustees
Trustees are responsible for corporation of the church to receive, hold, encumber, manage, and transfer property, real or personal, for the congregation, provided that in buying , selling, and mortgaging real property, the trustees shall act only after the approval of the congregation, granted in a duly constituted meeting; to accept and execute deeds of title to such property; to hold and defend title to such property; to manage any permanent special funds for the furtherance of the purpose of the congregation, all subject to the authority of the session and under the provisions of the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
